Important Notice from the Connecticut Real Estate Commission

Students enrolled in a Connecticut real estate pre-licensing course to pursue a Real Estate Salesperson’s License should be aware of the following state-mandated guidelines:

1. Real estate schools and instructors are strictly prohibited from soliciting or encouraging your employment at any specific real estate firm.

2. You are under no obligation to affiliate with or contract with any real estate firm solely as a result of your classroom instruction.

3. Entering into an employment or independent contractor agreement with a real estate brokerage is typically a legally binding contract. You are strongly advised to consult with an attorney before signing any such agreement.

4. These rules are in place to protect your rights and ensure a fair, unbiased educational experience.
